제품 특징


Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) is a technology that utilizes the differences in the hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity of biological macromolecules to achieve separation. Under high-salt conditions, biological macromolecules are adsorbed on the hydrophobic groups of the hydrophobic chromatography medium. By reducing the salt concentration, different proteins are eluted in order from weak to strong hydrophobicity, so as to achieve the purpose of separation and purification. With mild operating conditions and high resolution, HIC is one of the commonly used methods for the separation and purification of biological macromolecules.


UniHR HIC resins are based on monodisperse, hydrophilically modified polymethacrylate matrix. Phenyl and butyl hydrophobic groups are bonded onto this hydrophilic matrix resin to respectively provide two families of HIC resins .
